FireFlies Energy is a marketplace that connects homeowners and businesses with independent solar installers, and facilitates financing applications through partner financial institutions. We are not an installer, a lender, or a party to any contract you enter into with an installer or financing partner.

We review installer credentials (including licensing, registration documents, insurance and work portfolios) before listing them, and we may suspend installers who fall short of our standards. Verification reduces risk but is not a guarantee of workmanship, pricing or outcomes. You remain responsible for your own due diligence before entering into a contract with an installer.

The platform is free for homeowners to search, compare and contact installers.

You agree to provide accurate information, to use the platform lawfully, and not to misuse it, including by scraping data, submitting false applications, or attempting to circumvent our verification process.

By applying to join, you confirm that the business information, documents and portfolio you submit are accurate and yours to submit. Misrepresentation is grounds for immediate removal from the marketplace.

Listing on the marketplace does not create an employment, agency or partnership relationship with FireFlies Energy.

Financing decisions are made by our partner financial institutions, not by FireFlies Energy. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Rates, terms and eligibility are set by the relevant partner.

Information you submit in a financing application is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FireFlies Energy is not liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship or solvency of installers or financing partners, or for any agreement you enter into with them. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability.

We may update these terms or change the platform's features. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
